Yoga + Gut Health for overall wellbeing

Saturday 13th December | 3-5pm
At Yoga House Catford

Our gut is often referred to as our second brain. We have a network of 100 million neurons in the walls of our digestive tract. This system controls functions like digestion, swallowing, enzyme release and it communicates with the brain through the vagus nerve.

Therefore it plays a crucial role in both digestion and our overall mental and emotional wellbeing.

This workshop will explore the vital connection between the gut and brain and will give you tools and ideas to support your gut and your brain.

We will look closer at the gut-brain axis and how stress and lifestyle habits affect digestive function – ie. looking at parasympathetic vs sympathetic dominance and how it impacts digestion.
