Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) is a very useful tool in personalised nutrition. Especially for clients navigating weight management or wanting a clearer picture of their metabolic health. While it’s not necessary or relevant for everyone, CGM can offer insight for those who struggle with energy dips, cravings, disrupted sleep or blood sugar variability.

In my practice, I have recently started using Glucose Evolution alongside the Syai Ultra CGM, which allows clients to share their data with me in real time. This makes the process easy for clients, as they can log meals with quick photos rather than filling out detailed food diaries. It allows clients to track what they eat and understand how different foods, stressors, sleep patterns and movement affect their blood sugar.

For many clients, using a CGM for a period (14 days in general) helps them connect the dots between their habits and how they feel. They often discover which meals keep them full, how a short walk after eating stabilises their glucose or how stress and poor sleep influence their appetite the next day. It can help to gain insight, building awareness and making sustainable changes that support long‑term health.
